HOUGHTON — One way to recruit potential correctional facility employees is to target the student population. The Michigan Department of Corrections is hosting recruitment fairs at universities throughout the Upper Peninsula. "I'm part of the recruitment team to get out information," says MDOC Recruiter Shawn Minerick. "We're having three job fairs in the U.P this week today here in Houghton, tomorrow at Northern Michigan University and Friday at Lake Superior State University."
