| Coastal State Prison inmate dies |

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WJCL) – A spokesperson with the Georgia Department of Corrections said an inmate at Coastal State Prison died Wednesday afternoon. That death happened around 4:20 p.m., according to officials. It is still under investigation. The facility, on Gulf Stream Road in Chatham County, is a medium-security prison serving adult male felons, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections website. Read More. |
