| Inmate gets 15 more years |

An inmate will be serving more time in prison after a jury found him guilty of striking a corrections employee. Circuit Court Judge Sandy Martinez sentenced Carlden Trotter, 31, to 15 years in prison for violence to Department of Corrections employee. In August, a jury deliberated less than 30 minutes before finding him guilty of the charge. According to court records, in February of 2010 Trotter refused to submit to wrist restraints and struck a corrections officer in the face and head. The officer received substantial injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. In other cases, Bradley Clay Moore, 35, an inmate, was sentenced to two years in prison for driving with a suspended license. Read More. |
