TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — The latest on Arizona’s efforts to gain possession of a shipment of execution drugs seized by the Food and Drug Administration. The Arizona Department of Corrections says the agency will comply with an order requiring it to reveal which execution drugs it has in its possession. A federal judge issued the order on Wednesday and gave the department until Nov. 18 to respond. The order was issued after the state requested the lifting of a stay on a civil rights lawsuit filed by death row inmates. The lawsuit must be resolved before Arizona can resume executions.
