| Two inmates escape from Karthaus boot camp |

KARTHAUS — Pennsylvania Department of Corrections reported at 12:50 p.m. on Sunday that two inmates, each serving flat 24-month State Intermediate Punishment sentences at Quehanna Boot Camp in Clearfield County, had escaped. The escapees, Nicholas Guido, 30, and Trent Robert Maffei, 20, were observed getting into a black sedan. Guido, who was serving a sentence for burglary no person present, is described as a white male with light complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. Maffei is described as a white male with light complexion with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.
