| Sheriff’s officials believe escaped state prisoner is no longer in the area, still at large |

HIGHLAND >> Authorities believe an inmate who walked away from his assigned fire crew here yesterday is no longer in the area. Personnel at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Highland station informed sheriff’s top brass that they believe Kent Lesporavasky, 43, has left the area, spokeswoman Cindy Bachman said. Officials didn’t explain why station personnel believe Lesporavasky left the area. Calls to the station commander, Capt. Anthony DeCecio went unanswered. Lesporavasky, who’s serving state time for transportation of marijuana, walked away from his crew and was last seen around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday near Highway 330 and Highland Avenue. Read More. |
