| Springfield police nab 3 fugitives from justice, including an alleged stalker |

SPRINGFIELD — The week's not even over, and the Springfield Police Department Warrant Apprehension Unit has already nabbed three fugitives from justice – including an alleged stalker and strangler. Steve Miller, 46, of 95 Leatherleaf Drive, Sixteen Acres, was wanted on a warrants for strangulation, stalking and violation of a restraining order, according to Springfield police spokesman John Delaney, noting that all three fugitives were taken into custody over the past two days. Crystal Mendoza, 33, of 179 Warrenton St., Pine Point, was wanted on two counts of larceny over $250 and single counts of larceny by check and uttering a false check. Read More. |
