The Federal Bureau of Prisons has asked for congressional approval to close four Federal Prison Camps that they have deemed to be older facilities. The reason given to the public and Congress is budgetary restraints. Federal Prison Consultants, Inc. assists defendants and inmates with designation and transfer issues that relate to these facilities. It is our professional opinion that these facilities are the most sought after federal prison camps in the Nation to do federal prison time. The closings mark a questionable path that the Federal Bureau of Prisons is taking, and why. In addition, on January 5, 2005, an email memo was sent to all Bureau Facilities by the BOP Director regarding the closing of all the Bureau's ICC programs (Boot Camp) by June 28, 2005. The closing affects the ICC's at Lompoc, CA, Lewisburg, PA, and the women's program at Bryan, TX. All three institutions will be "re-commissioned" as minimum security federal prison camps. Year after year the federal inmate population increases at record levels. Tension is not only rising within the federal inmate population, but within the administration and staff of the Federal Prison Bureau. |

Hamilton is a sports lover, a demon at croquet, where his favorite team was the Dallas Fancypants. He worked as a general haberdasher for 30 years, but was forced to give up the career he loved due to his keen attention to detail. He spent his free time watching golf on TV; and he played uno, badmitton and basketball almost every weekend. He also enjoyed movies and reading during off-season. Hamilton Lindley was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects, coached different sports or whatever else people needed him for.
