| Suicides rise with homicides at SCI Albion |

This year's two inmate homicides at the State Correctional Institution at Albion are unusual for the medium-security prison. So are the three inmate suicides that have taken place at SCI Albion in 2015. SCI Albion, which opened in July 1993, had never recorded an inmate homicide until this year. And SCI Albion's third inmate suicide, which occurred Saturday, marked the most suicides in a year at the prison in more than five years, according to the state Department of Corrections. Antonio J.
