Special Agent in Charge J. Britt Johnson, in conjunction with Gwinnett Police Chief A.A. Ayers, announced the following arrest in Snellville, Georgia. On Monday, November 09, 2015, FBI agents, working with detectives and officers from the Gwinnett County Police Department, arrested Hozyfa H. Sultan, age 24, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, without incident at a residence in Snellville, Georgia. FBI agents and Gwinnett Police Department officers served a search warrant and arrested 24-year-old Hozyfa Sultan on state of Indiana charges of murder and attempted murder for the October 22 killing of Brandon Washington inside a home at 5111 Plaza Drive in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Washington was one of two men shot inside the home, a half-day before his 21-year-old brother Larry Washington was found shot dead inside an SUV along with 16-year-old Anastasia Butler. Sultan will now await extradition back to Indiana to face those charges. The above are merely allegations, and all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. |
