Inmate killed in Cushing prison riot had meth in bloodstream, cellphone in pocket

CUSHING — One of the inmates killed in a bloody prison fight at the Cimarron Correctional Facility had methamphetamine in his bloodstream and a cellphone in his pocket when he died, according to an autopsy report released Monday.

Christopher Tignor, 29, died of a stab wound to the chest. He also was stabbed in the face, and his back was slashed, the state medical examiner said.

A blood test revealed Tignor had been using methamphetamine, according to the report, which added he had a black Samsung cellphone in his pocket.
