JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Mississippi Department of Corrections is temporarily closing a second community work center. Crews are no longer available to work at the Alcorn County Community Work Center in Corinth. The decision to close this location is not related to the removal of state inmates from the Alcorn County Regional Facility says Commissioner Marshall Fisher of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
