| BCSO Corrections K-9 Deputy, K-9 Partner Justice Help Make Arson Arrest With Rockledge Police |

Due to the nature of the call, the Rockledge Police Department requested the assistance of our K-9 Unit, at which time Cpl. Chris Spencer, Field Training Officer Daniel Sacino and K-9 Justice were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, Cpl. Spencer and FTO Sacino learned that an unknown individual had set fire to a vehicle on Nicklaus Drive. Cpl. Spencer and K-9 Justice then tracked a suspect’s scent from the arson scene to a neighboring residence. Cpl. Spencer then notified Rockledge Police Department Officers, who had located a residential surveillance recording, confirming the suspect lived at the residence K-9 Justice had located by tracking the scent.
