The Arizona Department of Corrections is launching a new program aimed at helping incarcerated veterans successfully re-enter society and avoid returning to prison. The “Regaining Honor” program announced Tuesday will be based at the state prison in Tucson but may be expanded to other prisons if it is successful. They also will be offered veteran-specific classes, workshops and release planning supported by government and community groups. Read More. |
