David Sweat has pleaded guilty to the crime of escaping from one of New York's toughest maximum security prisons. Sweat is one of the two convicted murderers who broke out of Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora last summer. He now faces up to 14 years in prison, a penalty that will be added to his current life sentence. In the Clinton County Courtroom in Plattsburgh on Friday, Sweat β wearing a green prison uniform and glasses β looked calm and tired.
