| Tulsa County could receive 9-million dollars from DOC |

TULSA, Okla.- Tulsa County could receive 9-million dollars in back pay from the Department of Corrections for holding State inmates. The development comes after a recent court ruling by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court ruled that the DOC must pay the actual cost of keeping state inmates in County jails. As of right now, the DOC has been paying $27 a day, per inmate, but the County says it would cost about $55 a day.
