| KTC holds business networking session |

Kiamichi Technology Center hosted a CEOs Breakfast on Wednesday, where businesses, employers, state legislators and local officials from the area attended to communicate their needs, to network and discuss what is and is not working for them in the current job market. The breakfast began with the posting of colors by officers from the Department of Corrections and then a buffet style breakfast was served. KTC event organizer Tony Korp asked business representatives to go around the room and introduce themselves, to network and express any issues they are having in the current job market. “One of our main problems right now is finding licensed journeymen,” said Jennifer Warren, office manager for Vision Contracting, Inc. “Which is a trade you have to be in for quite a while to get your licensing — we really need journeymen.” Read More. |
