A speaker from Pennsylvania Correctional Industries will tell Mountain Council of Governments members about their many offerings to municipalities, school districts and authorities at the M-COG meeting Friday at 8 a.m. at the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce. Pennsylvania Correctional Industries, a bureau of the state Department of Corrections, employs inmates to produce a variety of items that are available for sale to nonprofit organizations and government entities in Pennsylvania, while providing inmates with basic work skills and ethics.
