| Parolee's crime spree begs questions of parole system |

MIDLAND, MI (WNEM) - Police said Gregory Allen Rose broke into a Midland County home, murdered the owner and set her house on fire. It happened not long after Rose, a parolee, cut off his tether early last Thursday morning. Chris Gautz is with the department of corrections.
