| Inmate found dead in Cascade County jail |

GREAT FALLS - The Cascade County Sheriff’s Office has asked the Montana Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation to investigate an inmate death at the Cascade County Regional Detention Center in Great Falls. A press release from the MT DOJ says that during a routine check at approximately 3 a.m. on Tuesday, a corrections officer found a 53-year-old male inmate dead in his cell. It was a single-inmate cell and he was alone when found by the officer. Attempts to revive the inmate were unsuccessful. Read More. |
