Woman arrested on drug charges during visit |

A Baltimore woman tried to smuggle $8,000 worth of heroin into the Federal Correctional Institution in Cumberland, Md., state police say. Carolyn Denise Jones, 45, was arrested last Saturday when she arrived at the prison, authorities said. She was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin; possession of heroin; possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia; possession of heroin with intent to deliver to a correctional facility; and conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute heroin. |
