| OKC Police and The U.S. Marshals Service apprehends two fugitives |

The Oklahoma City Police Department along with the U.S. Marshals Service apprehended 2 fugitives Saturday afternoon. Authorities say that 33-year-old Jason Pedro and 38-year-old John Shepherd were apprehended shortly before 2:00 P.M. on Saturday. The two men had escaped from an Oklahoma Department of Corrections facility near Vinita. Pedro was located first near S.W. 38th Street and Portland Avenue, after police responded to a disturbance call. As officers arrived, Pedro attempted to leave in a car, but was stopped by officers and peacefully surrendered. Read More. |
