A Billings prerelease center inmate walked away from Alpha House on Sunday and has been placed on escape status by the Montana Department of Corrections. Caleb Root, 35, left Alpha House Men’s Prerelease Center at about 9:50 p.m., according to a news release from Alternatives Inc. Root was sentenced in Missoula County for criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute on Aug. 4, 2010. He arrived at Alpha House on May 15. Read More. |
