WAWARSING >> A state corrections officer accused of assaulting an inmate at the Ulster Correctional Facility was acquitted Tuesday in Wawarsing Town Court. Town Justice Charles Dechon handed down his verdict in the non-jury trial of Michael Bukowski about 20 minutes after closing arguments concluded.
