DECATUR – After deliberating for two hours and 45 minutes, a jurors decided that former correctional officer Timothy Ware was guilty of seven felony counts of official misconduct for soliciting the phone numbers of a female inmate and a female parolee and lying to investigators. Circuit Judge Hugh Finson read the verdicts on each count at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Ware, 41, was acquitted on one count, which said he lied about asking for one inmate's phone number.
