| Commissioners Expected to Appoint Interim County Clerk& Community Corrections Plan |

The appointment of an interim County Clerk and Recorder leads the County Commissioner’s Weekly Business Session agenda Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. in the Anne Basker Auditorium. It is anticipated the Commissioners will appoint the current chief deputy clerk Trisha Meyers as Interim County Clerk & Recorder following the departure of Art Harvey. Ms. Meyers has been a deputy county clerk since 2006 and in 2012 was promoted to Chief Deputy County Clerk. She holds a Masters of Arts degree in teaching from Southern Oregon University. The commissioners will likely approve an intergovernmental agreement with Jackson County to allow Emergency Management in both counties to work together during an emergency providing mutual aid.
