| Man just freed from prison accused of dealing drugs, carrying loaded gun |

A 53-year-old Anadarko man already on parole for drug trafficking is now facing life in prison after he was charged with continuing the trade and while in possession of a stolen gun. Delon Jay Burrus Jr. appeared Tuesday in Caddo County District Court where he was charged with felony counts of trafficking in illegal drugs, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and knowingly concealing stolen property, court records indicate. Due to prior felony convictions, he is eligible for life in prison if convicted of either the trafficking or firearm charge. Burrus has several prior drug trafficking convictions from Bryan County in 1992, and Oklahoma County in 1996 where he received a 42-years sentence, Department of Corrections records indicate.
