| Authorities looking for female inmate missing from prison camp |

The Nevada Department of Corrections is looking for an inmate who walked away from the Jean Conservation Camp, officials said. Mary Mitchell, 44, was discovered missing about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday during an inmate count, the department said. She reportedly walked away from the minimum-custody facility. Mitchell arrived at Jean Conservation Camp on Nov. 24 from the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center. She was serving a 20- to 50-month sentence for grand larceny, theft and burglary, officials said. Read More. |
