| Man Charged with Bringing Razor Blade into Prison |

A Mount Vernon man was charged with entering Green Haven Correction Facility on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, with an alleged razor blade. According to New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks, Troopers arrested 36-year-old Jafari R. Fray, of Mount Vernon, New York, for Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, a Class D Felony. Authorities said Troopers were contacted to assist the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations with the arrest of Fray, who entered the Green Haven Correctional facility to visit an inmate with a razor blade.
