COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. - The state is now investigating a Friday morning stabbing at the Columbia Correctional Institution Annex. An inmate stabbed another inmate during a fight about 10 a.m. New Year's Day, officials said. The wounded inmate was treated at an outside facility. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Florida Department of Corrections are investigating the incident. Read More. |
