FRANKLIN CO., Fla. (WTXL) - The Franklin Correctional Institution is under lockdown after a group of inmates stopped listening to orders over the weekend. Corrections officials say a couple of inmates started causing a disturbance in their dorm on Sunday, January 3, 2016. This comes after an incident earlier that day where they stopped listening to officer orders. The institution says no one was injured but they are now under lockdown to make sure an incident like this does not lead to further problems, like a riot. Read More. |
