| Man admits throwing bag of cell phones, drugs into Danbury prison |

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – The FBI has arrested a Philadelphia man for throwing bundles of cell phones, batteries and chargers over the fence at the federal prison in Danbury. Dana Taylor Jr., 24, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of providing or attempting to provide contraband to an inmate of a federal prison. The FBI says Taylor tried the stunt twice. Early Sunday morning he managed to throw several bundles over the prison fence. The FBI says the bundles contained a dozen cell phones along with batteries and chargers, and were wrapped in green camouflage fabric and clear tape to protect them from the elements. Read More. |
