OLYMPIA, Wash. — The new Legislative session starts Monday morning and lawmakers say tackling the prison early release scandal is their first priority. Department of Corrections secretary Dan Pacholke will be in the hot seat, fielding questions from lawmakers during a hearing that starts in the afternoon.
