CLARKSBURG — Officials are hopeful that the new Harrison County Community Corrections/Day Report offices will be ready to move into this spring. The program, currently in the old jail of the Harrison County Courthouse annex, will be relocated to the sixth floor of Chase Tower, 215 S. Third St., Clarksburg. The building is owned by Olymbec USA. Gina Jones, Harrison County Commission director of grants and special projects, said the 5,052-square-foot space features secure entry, 10 office rooms, including a group or conference room and GED/computer station space. There are also three restrooms and a kitchen. Workers are currently painting the offices, upgrading all phones and networks and installing cameras. Carpet installation will begin when the painting is complete. Employees of the Harrison County Commission are doing the work in-house. Read More. |
