| Yakima County jail inmate escapes while being transferred to DOC building |

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- Yakima County Sheriff's office says 24-year-old Terry Penuel escaped from custody Monday morning as he was being transferred from Yakima County main jail to the Department of Corrections building on Pacific Avenue. Sgt. Mike Russell, Yakima County Sheriff's Office spokesperson says Penuel was being held in jail for felony violation of a court order. Penuel is 5'8", weighs 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing a sweatshirt with the letters "YCJ DOC" on them. Read More. |
