| Sheriff's Office: Yakima County escaped inmate caught |

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- Inmate Terry R Penuel, who escaped from the Yakima County Department of Corrections jail custody Monday, was arrested Wednesday without incident, say detectives with the Yakima County Sheriff's Office. Detectives tell Action News Penuel was arrested at a residence on the 100-block of East Barlett Ave. in Selah, following a tip to law enforcement. Penuel was taken into custody by law enforcement officers with the violent offenders task force without resistance shortly after noon, says Yakima County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Detective Mike Russell. "He is somebody that I think the public, at large, would prefer would be in custody at the Yakima County Jail," said Sgt. Russell. Read More. |
