DENVER - Denver police say officers have captured an escaped parolee in the Lakeside area just before 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Denver7 Reporter Mark Boyle captured the arrest on video. It showed heavily armed SWAT officers detaining the suspect, who was a red T-shirt, shorts and sneakers, by a Denver police vehicle. The Colorado Department of Corrections confirmed parolee 26-year-old Benjamin Knight was apprehended about 12:25 p.m. He was on parole after serving time in state prison for robbery and drug abuse, said DOC spokeswoman Adrienne Jacobson.
