A 24-year-old Montgomery County man was missing for more than 24 hours from Northampton County's Community Corrections Facility in West Easton, the Department of Corrections reports. Marquis Johnson, who was serving a four-month to 20-month and 19-day sentence after pleading guilty in March to receiving stolen property and later violating parole, left the facility at 8:30 a.m. Friday on work release, the department of corrections said. He was expected back at 6 p.m. He was returned to the prison at 9:07 p.m. Saturday, the department of corrections said. Johnson was originally arrested June 29, 2014, while dribbling a basketball on the shoulder of Interstate 78 East in Lower Saucon Township, Pennsylvania State Police said at the time. Johnson was about two miles from a 2014 Nissan Maxima which was supposed to be on a car dealer's lot and didn't have a license plate, police said.
