| Inmate, 58, dies at prison in Northern Nevada |

An inmate at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City died this afternoon, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections. Gary Wayne Lewellin, 58, was at the Regional Medical Facility at the correctional center when he died about 3 p.m., according to a corrections department news release. He was serving 56 months to 25 years on burglary and robbery charges, the release said. Read More. |
