| Escaped sex offender arrested in Des Moines |

A sex offender who had escaped from a Des Moines facility was arrested Wednesday. Authorities declared Ross Michael Clouse, 26, escaped Jan. 15 after he failed to return to the Fort Des Moines Work Release Facility from his job in Guthrie County, according to an Iowa Department of Corrections news release. Clouse was arrested at a Des Moines residence Wednesday by the Fifth Judicial District Fugitive Unit, with assistance from the U.S. Marshal’s Service, according to the news release. Read More. |
