ST. PAUL, Minn. - Investigators from the Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) are seeking a level 3 sex offender who has disappeared. Douglas Lynn Peterson has been on fugitive status since January 17, when he failed to comply with conditions of his release from prison. The 66-year-old sex offender was living in Minneapolis near the area of 27th Street and Fremont Avenue North. DOC officials say Peterson is about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with short graying hair. He served 13 years in prison after being convicted for sexual crimes against juvenile males. Read More. |
