A Montgomery man serving a life sentence for shooting and killing a man on Christmas Day 2011 faces new charges after being caught live streaming via social media from prison. While in prison at Elmore Correctional Facility, Devin Williamson, 26, created a Facebook page, and opened Perscope and GoFundMe accounts, Alabama Department of Corrections spokesman Bob Horton said. He said Williamson admitted to creating the pages and live streaming videos from the Periscope app. This went on for several days before the ALDOC was notified, Horton said. Read More. |
