TAOS, N.M. (KRQE) – The weather caused problems for a hearing in Taos Tuesday for cult leader Wayne Bent. State District Judge Abigail Aragon recently decided Bent, who’s in prison for inappropriately touching a teen girl in 2008, should be released early. Aragon had to call into her courtroom Tuesday because she was snowed in. Tuesday’s hearing was to clarify her decision to release Bent who is seven years into a 10-year sentence. Read More. |
