A Wisconsin prison inmate is charged in Brown County for assaulting a corrections officer and other prison staff working at Green Bay Correctional. Action 2 News started looking into it and found assaults are happening hundreds of times a year in state prisons, forcing lawmakers into action. Thirty-year old Darnell Brown is no longer being housed at Green Bay Correctional. Charges have now been filed from an incident in September, where authorities say he kicked and assaulted a nurse at GBCI when she tried to give him court-ordered medication. Read More. |
