| Inmate dies in Cape Breton Correctional Facility |

A man was found dead in his jail cell at the Cape Breton Correctional Facility early Sunday morning. Staff called emergency health services and tried to resuscitate the inmate when he was found unconscious. He was pronounced dead a short while later at 2:45 a.m. The Department of Corrections is not releasing the man's name or age. They say his next of kin has been notified. Read More. |
