Inmate allegedly attacks Milwaukee Co. deputy |

A Milwaukee County (Wisc.) sheriff's deputy is recovering from an attack at the county jail. The deputy has worked in the department for seven years. Authorities said he was jumped by an inmate while making rounds. The inmate was in jail on felony burglary charges. He will now face charges of assaulting a law enforcement officer. The deputy suffered multiple cuts, bruises and rib injuries. The inmate has been moved to a disciplinary housing unit. |
