Colorado Springs, CO On Feb. 10, 2016 the Colorado Department of Corrections began investigating a homicide that occurred within Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility, 12750 Highway 96 Ordway, CO. This was an isolated homicide involving two (2) offenders, no correctional officers were injured. This case is currently under investigation by our office in conjunction with the 16th Judicial District Attorney's Office. No names or details of this active investigation will be released at this time. |
