A 45-year-old inmate at a Florence state prison died in an apparent suicide Monday despite attempts by medical personnel to save his life, according to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Scott Saba, 45, was serving sentences for identity theft, shoplifting, fraudulent schemes, trafficking in stolen property and a dangerous-drug violation.
