| Fugitive cuts off ankle monitor, escapes police in Magna by ramming cruiser |

A violent fugitive, on the run since cutting off his ankle monitor, remained at large Monday after having allegedly escaped the law by driving through tire spikes and ramming a Unified Police cruiser. Christopher John McMillan, 43, has been at large since last Wednesday. Then, about 6 p.m. Saturday, he was spotted getting into a car with two women in West Valley City. The fugitive reportedly was a passenger at first, but when he realized a WVCPD police car was following him, he pushed the women out of the vehicle near Highway 201 and 7400 West in neighboring Magna, police said.
