A CONVICTED drug dealer who tried to hide a mobile phone in prison has been jailed for an extra four months. Michael Thompson, 28, said he had the phone to contact his family as he was worried about them. The 28-year-old was an inmate at Sudbury Prison when a guard entered his cell and saw him quickly push his hand under a pillow next to him, Derby Crown Court heard. When Thompson was asked what he was hiding, he replied: "You've got me." He then handed over the mobile phone. Read More. |
